Ketambe is a remote village in the south of Aceh Province. This is a small and beautiful place where you can enjoy Mother Nature in all her majesty. In the surrounding jungle you will have the opportunity to see a variety of amazing creatures and of course the star of our show, the Sumatran Orangutan. Anyone who loves nature, will love Ketambe.

The #1 reason people come to Ketambe is to see our precious orangutans, the apes that we share 97% of our DNA with. Our orangutans are wild. They still live in the trees and are sometimes elusive.
